Η παρούσα έκδοση της "Βαλκυρίας" (Die Walkure) του Ρίχαρντ Βάγκνερ αποτελεί ένα κορυφαίο ορόσημο στην ιστορία της όπερας και είναι η δημοφιλέστερη και συχνότερα εκτελούμενη από τις όπερες του κύκλου "Το Δαχτυλίδι του Νιμπελούγκεν" (Der Ring des Nibelungen). Η έκδοση αυτή αναπαράγει την πλήρη ορχηστρική και φωνητική παρτιτούρα – και όχι μια απλοποιημένη απόδοση για πιάνο – σε μια καθαρή, σύγχρονη χάραξη με μεγάλη, ευανάγνωστη σημειογραφία, διευκολύνοντας έτσι τη μελέτη και την ανάγνωση.
Η έκδοση αποτελεί ανατύπωση της έγκυρης έκδοσης C. F. Peters που δημοσιεύθηκε στη Λειψία, περίπου το 1910.
