Delivers natural sound teeming with realism that you could listen to forever through the metal powder injection molding method MIM.
Along with the special attribute of final audio design products - a vast sound stage - Heaven VIII has succeeded in the reproduction of the vivid yet lyrical bass tones radiating from musical instruments. Usually, increasing the range of bass tones results in a dull resonance across the full sound range. Here, owing tothe employment of MIM (Metal Injection Molding), a special metal working process, a housingthat optimizes acoustics not possible through regular machining is achieved; coupled with a newly specified single driver unit, it has been possible to heighten bass reproduction while preserving clarity. With a never before experienced volume of sounds and sense of depth, you can experience an overwhelming senseof realism. The back design is not merely for decoration either. Resonance dispersion has been factored into the design, making for a high-level balance between beauty and function.
* MIM (Metal Injection Molding)
Fine metal powder is mixed with a binder, and after molding this with a die as is done with resin, the form is sintered in a furnace at an exceedingly high temperature. Freedom of form and precision are high withthis method, but it is difficult to finish the surface, and hence the process is not often used for parts whose external appearance is displayed.
With balanced armature driver units, iron is driven to produce sound, and as such, these drivers face a number of problems, amongst which are "proving tiring to listen to" , "having sound that is subtle and beautiful, but lacking in depth and being flat" and "lacking bass interval". At final, we decided to focus on developing technology for the reproduction of bass tones and three-dimensional space with the full-range reproduction of a theoretically unproblematic single driver unit, rather than taking things in a multiway direction. We went back to the beginning and reviewed the performance of the balanced armature driver, focusing our attention on something we had previously overlooked ? airflow inside the housing. We developed BAM (Balancing Air Movement), a mechanism that optimizes airflow inside the housing through the creation of an aperture inthe driver unit, which is usually sealed.
While achieving bass tones and deep, three-dimensional spatial representation, which proved difficult with single driver full-range reproduction, we achieved a BA type that at the same time made for natural listening the user doesn't tire of.
Compared to other products in the Heaven series, the driver unit employed here is superior in terms of bass tone reproduction. In principle, this makes for ideal full range reproduction with a single driver.
MIM is a method whereby fine metal powder is mixed with a binder, and after molding this with a die as is done with resin, the form is sintered in a furnace at an exceedingly high temperature and the shape is reconciled. As with molded plastic products, there is a great deal of freedom of form with this method, although it was necessary to solve problems arising with the method such as precision control owing tothe 20-30% degree of shrinkage that occurs and the difficulties involved with achieving a surface finishat a level acceptable for outer casings. We solved the problems related to MIM using technology we cultivated during the development of titanium earphones using a 3D printer. By making the housing two simple parts, we were able to control the resonance of the housing to the utmost. The back design is not merelyfor decoration ? it is a form that works to disperse resonance.
Two silicone materials of different hardness are employed in the sound conduit tube and the section coming into contact with the user's ear. With the sound conduit tube, extremely hard silicone has had grooves scored into it, making for both strength and flexibility. They can be fitted to the aural canal while maintaining their shape. Soft silicone is employed with section that comes into contact with the ear, and a comfortable fit along with a high level of sound insulation has been achieved. Five sizes are included with the product, SS/S/M/L/LL. Please choose the size that best suits you.
With stainless steel mesh and an acoustic resistor, balance is achieved between medium and high tones.
Enhancing the flexibility of the cable and increasing its thickness results in a decrease in touch noise.

Please check the L (left) and R (right) indicators on the left and right bushes. Holding the product, fit into the ears using a slight twisting motion. Since sound quality differs greatly according to the positioningof the ear piece, move each ear phone around while playing music until you find the position with the balance that suits you best. Once you find this position, it will easy to replicate it on subsequent occasions.
* It is usual that a person's ears differ from left to right in terms of shape. As such, the optimum positioning of the product differs from left to right.
Smooth, profoundly soft sound across all bands is characteristic of this model. The beguiling soundscape produced with these earphones, unthinkable from a single driver, is bound to become an obsession. Since softness is the appeal here, we encourage you to try this product with soft female vocals or with jazz.
The enhancement of low tones, something of a weak point with Heaven VI, has been achieved; middle and high tones have also been refined, making for a balanced, extremely appealing sound.
I especially recommend these for those who regularly use Heaven VI. They definitely won't let you down. A failing of this model is that to produce the original sound, more than 12 hours of aging is a must, and as a result, during the listening trial it's possible that the original sound wasn't produced; just a reminder that there's a difference that may be misleading before aging and after aging.

To start off with, more than anything, I have been thinking about the design of this model. And then the sound is also surprising. It's a unique sound like no other. When I first started using them, I thought that they were good for certain genre, but recently – maybe it's because I've gotten used to them – I think that no matter what the genre, other earphones are lacking.
